This Project was launched immediately after the provision of educational scholarships and sports equipment event. The Project aimed to help the school to have the required ECD materials that they lacked to start ECD and due to lack of these equipment the school was unable to facilitate the kids. Fifteen ECD students were helped by providing the school with mostly all the needed equipment an ECD class requires.

The importance of early childhood education can’t be overstated. A child’s early years are the foundation for his/her future development, providing a strong base for lifelong learning abilities including cognitive and social development.

When Umeed-e-Bashar went for its project in Al-Amin Public School, we observed the school had no single facility for ECD students. We saw only an empty class and some charts pasted on the walls that were hand made by the teachers.

So for the very first time Umeed-e-Bashar Foundation helped Al-Amin School to start its Early Childhood Education System by providing all the necessary ECD equipments required for a standard ECD class.

Because Childhood care and education is more than preparation for a primary school. It actually aims at the holistic development of the child’s emotional, cognitive and physical needs to build a solid and broad foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing.

Just look at the smiles and the happiness on the kids’ faces as they see their transformed and new class filled with what they need.
