God has created all humans equal, and we are the finest art of God among others. Nonetheless, transgenders remain on the margins in our country and often have to resort to begging, dancing and prostitution to make a living. UBF came up with a new idea during the holy month of Ramadan and on its 4th birthday “Accept everyone in the society and live together harmoniously”.

All of us should acknowledge that; topics related to trans are seldom discussed, positively, fairly and with dignity while their existence as an individual in male body with a female gender identity or vice versa too.

Umeed-e-Bashar Foundation arranged for an Iftaar Dastarkhwan near Gohawa village Lahore inside a Trans home, attended by the Trans Community of nearby areas. It was a moment of happiness and gratefulness for them as well as for our whole team, getting to know them, serving them and having Iftaar together with them.

UBF believes in spreading love and making this world a happy place to live for everyone.
