Awaresness on Child Abuse & Stress Management (Community Hall, Passu Gojal, Hunza)
Umeed-e-Bashar Foundation organized a session on:
a.Awareness on Mental Health and Stress Management
b.Awareness on Child Abuse
At Passu Community Hall (district Hunza); where Mrs. Samida Ali Baig a Clinical Psychologist from Ghulkin Gojal briefed the participants about the above topics.
The audience comprised primary and middle level school students, some youth members of Passu Student Organization (PSA) and senior members of the community representing Passu Development Organization (PDO).
Ironically, we still saw negligence from parents towards such sensitive topics that really need to be addressed and understood properly. As they didn’t show up.
Moreover, we are very grateful to our volunteers and Passu community for helping us and assisting us to organize our event successfully.
